The Grackle

Over on East 6th, increasingly surrounded by condo developments, lies this very fine dive bar with cheap drinks and one of Austin’s best whiskey selections. The Grackle’s dimly-lit interior has darts and pool, and there’s a spacious covered patio out front. It’s oddly never too crowded, and there’s sometimes even parking out front. Currently in The Grackle’s parking lot is Arlo’s, serving plant-based renditions of comfort food like hamburgers and french fries.

DoorDash would offer multiple classes of stock, including one that comes with 20 votes per share, so that co-founder Tony Xu “will be able to determine or significantly influence any action requiring the approval of our stockholders.” CNBC reports that DoorDash has had $1.9 billion in revenue from January through September this year, and reported a net loss to $149 million over those same months, which is a smaller loss than the same time last year.
